Prom Night V2.0

So this last Saturday was prom night, right? Well, whilst everyone else was donning their spiffy tuxedos or elegant dresses and heading toward prom, I sat in a rocking chair anxiously watching SciFi channel movies.

Ok, so that's not all I did, but I did do that for a while. The word "few" should have a set meaning and not just a generalized one. We'll leave it at that... >.>

After all that, Ann and I did actually get going. We weren't headed to prom, though. Last year we went to prom, and neither of us liked the music, and Ann wasn't fond of taking hours to pretty herself up. You looked very nice after those hours, but whatever you want, love. We went to the movie theatre first, to see Angels and Demons. Great movie, though it cut out a cool, if ornery, character. I definitely recommend it if you've not seen it yet.

During said movie, I started to notice that caffeine + no meds + excited Ann = overactive-superexcited Ann. Now, I gotta say that it's much better than some of the more common moods she's in, but... It was getting a bit too much. =/ Sorry love, it was. But it wasn't terrible, and I enjoyed keeping you in suspense about what was going to happen next, so its all good. ^_^

Next was the bookstore. We went in, bought a few things, and left. Not very exciting, though she did have a spazz-attack over the lack of certain manga. We then proceeded to Reggie's, because he was also staying out of prom, though without someone to keep him company. Poor guy :(

We hung out at Reggie's for a bit, then Ann noticed the time and made me break out of my stupor and take her home. She had work the next morning, so she had a good excuse to get out of a full night date (like I was wanting...).

When I got home, I realized we hadn't eaten. I knew I was hungry by the shakiness in my limbs (symptom that foreshadows that I am going to be a diabetic in the future. Damn you genetics!) and the fact that Dad asked me where we'd eaten and I didn't have an answer for him. I made something up so he wouldn't get onto me, though I gotta say something. Ann, we really ought to have eaten. Makes me sad that I didn't take you to dinner on prom night, let alone I let you go home hungry! I'm so sorry! Please forgive me! *bows down asking forgiveness in the humblest way possible*

Other than a few little setbacks, though, it was a great night. We might not have gone out to prom like most everyone else, but we still had a good time. At least we didn't just sit on a couch and chatter for 4 hours like last year, haha.
