Thanksgiving!

First off, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Ok, now that that's done on to the post. Today was just a typical Thanksgiving. We went to my mom's parent's and then my dad's parent's. Very boring. But I did have to show off my new cell phone (a Razr, I love it ^_^). Although at dad's parent's, my aunt and cousin were more interested in my girlfriend (her picture's my wallpaper). So I am now stuffed full of turkey, have a couple of relatives who have their technology-ineptitude refueled, and the approval of my aunt and cousin on Ann. But other than that, it was just boring. I'm ready for school so I at least have homework to keep me occupied (I'm going nuts with boredom over here o.O)

Oh, and if you get the chance to read this Ann, they said you were cute ^_^

A WoW Wedding

I have an interesting story to tell you all. Last Saturday was the day set for David's World of Warcraft 'wedding'. He picked out a minister, place, and everything. I was the best man, of course :) Well, about an hour before the wedding was supposed to take place, David sent me a whisper (WoW's personal message, in case you don't know) and asked me to be the minister. The one he had gotten was unable to come and he didn't have enough time to get another one. He asked me because I play a paladin, holy knight. I agreed to help him out. He had me typing up the messages from a script he sent me, so I didn't really have to do much. And, no I didn't have to pull double duty. His girlfriend never found a brides' maid so the whole best man position was done away with. Only problem was that I had to get off right after the wedding because mom was wanting to go out and eat, so no after-wedding party for Blaze T_T

Well, that's all for now and peace out until after Thanksgiving. I'm sure to have something to say about that :P

Latest from the warfront! Er, I mean school

Today was rather crazy. We have recently had false calls to the police department about shootings and gang violence around our school. The following is the latest in the string of atrocities committed by our administration to keep the supposed threat level down.

First off, they searched all students (and anyone who entered the building) at the beginning of the day. Next, they didn't let anyone get out for lunch early because they had a metal detector set up at the door with the students filing in one by one. And last, they wouldn't let any of us get out early from school (we have a special program, Renaissance Club, where you can get out of school early on Wednesday). Luckily they didn't search us then, though.

I can see them doing the searches in the morning, and maybe the metal detector (but no searches) before lunch, but the rest of that was ridiculous. There's a line between being safe and being just plain scared, and they crossed it.

Renaissance Festival! WOOT!

Yesterday I took my friends to the Renaissance Festival (big fair thing that comes around every year and has a medieval theme, which is kind of strange considering its supposed to be the Renaissance Festival, but whatever) for my birthday (my birthday was a week ago, but this was the day we could get everyone to go). It was me, Ann (girlfriend), David (friend), Reggie, (another friend) and Zac (my cousin) who went.

We got there and were all together for about 5 minutes before David, Reggie, and Zac ran off. So I got to hang out with Ann for close to 4 hours. We looked around in a few shops, saw the London Brul (one of a few comedy groups that were performing at the stages scattered about the place) and saw the jousting tournament. The jousting was obviously fake and planned out, but it was still fun to see the knights beat the crap out of each other. I have no clue what the others did, although they did say something about Zac trying to haggle with the rose vendor...

All in all, I had a good time and I'm sure the rest of them did too. I mean, David and Reggie had Zac to entertain them (he's more than a little random) and I had Ann to try and keep up with (she can walk fast o_O). So that's about all for now, more later.

Welcome to the blog!

So I just made this blog. As it says, I am a blogging newb. But I will try to overcome my condition, just bear with me if it takes a little longer than expected. I'm pretty sure that's just about all for now, but I'll be back later to post something that's actually, well, something. I'd hate for all you people out there wherever to just read about my complaining :P
